COLUMBIA POWER CORPORATION ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF PRESIDENT AND CEO

Castlegar – The Columbia Power Corporation (CPC) Board of Directors announced today that President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Barry Chuddy, has resigned effective July 3, 2009.

Columbia Power wishes to thank Mr. Chuddy for his contributions to CPC, particularly for his role in advancing the Waneta Expansion Project.

Mr. Giulio Ambrosone, Vice President of Project Implementation for CPC, and Mr. Victor Jmaeff, Vice President of Sales and Development for CPC, in addition to their current roles, have been appointed by the CPC Board of Directors as joint Presidents and Chief Executive Officers on an interim basis. Mr. Ambrosone and Mr. Jmaeff bring years of service and experience to their shared role. The continued advancement of the Waneta Expansion Project will be the focus of their joint leadership.
