Brilliant Expansion Project
Community Impact Management Committee
The Brilliant Expansion Project Community Impact Management Committee (CIMC) has been formed as part of Columbia Power Corporation's (CPC's) commitment to prevent and resolve anticipated and unanticipated community impact issues resulting from project construction. The committee also provides ongoing support and input to encourage positive community impacts and benefits.

In monthly meetings, the committee is briefed on the status of the project and is asked to provide advice, suggestions or recommendations to assist in timely management and resolution of impacts to the local communities.

The committee members play a vital role by acting as "sounding boards" and as advisors to CPC on community or municipal concerns relative to the project. The committee was formed in 2003, and the volunteer members will serve until the substantial completion of the project, scheduled for 2006.
