Arrow Lakes Generating Station
Community Impact Management Committee

The Arrow Lakes Generating Station Community Impact Management Committee was formed as part of Columbia Power Corporation's (CPC's) commitment to prevent and resolve anticipated and unanticipated community impact issues. The committee also provided ongoing support to encourage positive community impact and benefits.
In monthly meetings, the committee was briefed on the status of the project and was asked to provide advice, suggestions or recommendations to assist in timely management and resolution of impacts to the local communities. The committee members played a vital role by acting as "sounding boards" and as advisors to CPC on community or municipal concerns relative to the project.
The committee was formed in 1999, and the volunteer members served until the substantial completion of the project in the summer of 2002.
