Hydropower Construction Positions 

Construction of the Waneta Expansion Project is currently underway. This project is a joint venture of Fortis Inc. (51%), Columbia Power (32.5%) and CBT (16.5%).

Hiring for the Waneta Expansion Project will be done through Columbia Hydro Constructors Ltd (CHC). CHC under the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement between CHC and the Allied Hydro Council of BC. Under this Collective Agreement, hiring preference will be given to local residents and members of equity employment groups.
