Lee Doney, Board Chair
Lee Doney has held a series of senior provincial public sector positions, serving as a Deputy Minister for 17 years, under four different administrations. He has served twice as the Deputy Minister of Labour and Consumer Services, and once as the Deputy Minister of Forests. He has also served as CEO of the BC Labour Force Development Board, and Chair of the Workers' Compensation Board.
Josh Smienk, Board Member
Josh Smienk is the Area E Director of the Regional District of Central Kootenay and served as Chair of Columbia Basin Trust from 1995 until 2007. Mr. Smienk was instrumental in the creation and management of many successful CBT partnerships and was also a driving force in several public sector and community organizations throughout the Columbia Basin. He is very familiar with the power projects as he was a member of the Joint Venture Management Committee of CPC/CBT for over 10 years.
Ron Miles, Board Member
Ron Miles has been a partner in the law firm Miles, Daroux, Zimmer & Sheard since 1996 and is also a member of the CBT Board of Directors. He has served as a Councillor for the City of Cranbrook, Chair of the Cranbrook and District Regional Hospital, and has extensive community involvement in various service clubs and other non-profit organizations.
Charles Reid, Board Member
Charles Reid is a certified general accountant with an extensive background in corporate finance. He was the CFO of Canfor Corporation from 1999-2004 and has been a Director on the boards of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, FM Global Insurance, and the Prince George Art Gallery.

Barry Chuddy
President and Chief Executive Officer
Barry Chuddy became President and CEO of Columbia Power Corporation on June 1st, 2007. He has spent his entire career in the energy industry--most recently at Enersource Corporation, based in Mississauga, Ontario, where he was Executive Vice President of Business Development and Marketing. He currently serves as a Director on the boards of the Canadian Hydro Association and the Canadian District Energy Association, and is a past Director of the Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company, the Association of Power Producers of Ontario and the Independent Electricity Market Operator/Independent Electrical Systems Operator of Ontario, where he was Chair of the Board's Audit Committee.
Victor Jmaeff
Vice President, Sales and Development
Victor Jmaeff came to Columbia Power Corporation in 1996 from Cominco, Trail Operations, where he held senior level positions since 1991--in particular pertaining to Cominco's hydroelectric operations. In his first position with Columbia Power as Vice President of Operations and Engineering, he oversaw the construction of the Arrow Lakes Generating Station, which commenced commercial operation in 2002. In his current senior position, Victor oversees the coordinated operation of CPC's hydro facilities, is responsible for power sales, and is the senior executive responsible for the Waneta Expansion Project. He is an officer of the company and is a member of the Executive Committee of Western Systems Power Pool.
Giulio Ambrosone
Vice President, Project Implementation
Giulio Ambrosone joined Columbia Power Corporation in 2003 after four years as the Resident Engineer with Klohn Crippen/SNC Lavalin, the Owner's Consultant for Columbia Power during construction of the Arrow Lakes Generating Station. Having recently earned a Masters of Science degree in Construction Management, Giulio is also a professional engineer with a degree in civil engineering, and over 30 years experience in power plant construction.
Don Rose
Acting General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Don Rose has been the acting Corporate Secretary and General Counsel of the Corporation since his appointment in 2007. From 1997 to 2006, he was the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of a large international mining company and before that practiced corporate and commercial law with a major Vancouver law firm. Don took a combined Commerce/Law program at the University of British Columbia, receiving a B. Comm. in 1971 and was the gold medalist in his law class when he received his law degree in 1972.
Amy Stevenson
Vice President, Operations & Environment, Health and Safety Affairs
Amy Stevenson joined Columbia Power in 1998 from BC Hydro, Power Supply group. Amy has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has spent over 15 years actively involved in the hydro electric industry, both in operations and construction. During her years at Columbia Power, she has been involved in the construction, operations and major capital works at all three of Columbia Power’s hydro facilities. Amy is involved in the Canadian Hydro Association, Canadian Dam Association, CEATI, and is an active contributor to industry conferences and papers.
Llewellyn Matthews
Director, Environmental Health and Safety
Llewellyn Matthews joined Columbia Power in 2002 after 10 years with SaskPower. Llewellyn has developed the environmental capacity within Columbia Power including the successful development and implementation of an ISO 14001 consistent Environmental Management System. He serves on several working groups of the Canadian Hydropower Association and the Upper Columbia White Sturgeon Recovery Initiative Technical Working Group.
Robert Krysac
Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Stakeholder Relations
Robert Krysac joined Columbia Power in early 2008 after working for the Columbia Basin Trust (CBT) for over 10 years. He served as CBT’s Controller from 1997 until 2000, when he became their Chief Financial Officer. From 1984 until 1997, Robert spent time working as the Controller of a major Saskatchewan hospital, followed by ten years as Controller of a Saskatchewan construction company. Prior to that, he spent four years with KPMG in Toronto and Saskatoon. Robert is a CPA and CGA and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics.
